| Miyanoshita is one of the Hakone Seven Hot Springs (Yumoto, Tonosawa, Miyanoshita, Dogashima, Ashinoyu, Sokokura, Ubako or Kiga). Miyanoshita is located next to Tonosawa, up the hill from Yumoto Station, where the Romance Car stops. The "Hakone Ginyu" is built on the cliff slope facing the Hakone mountain range here in Miyanoshita. This inn is now known throughout Japan as "The hardest inn in Japan to get a reservation". The entrance to the inn is on the 5th floor. Guest rooms are located on the 4th to 1st floors below the entrance. In the lobby where you are led when checking in, you will be greeted by a scene often seen in various magazines and guidebooks. The panoramic view is overwhelming, taking advantage of the view built on top of the cliff. |

| The lobby is a space with an Asian taste. Beyond the rimless tatami mats, the deep green mountains of Hakone welcome you. The dynamic view from the terrace is sure to impress. Except for power lines, there are almost no houses or other man-made structures in sight. There is nothing but great natural structures. Guests will marvel at the fact that such a wilderness exists just an hour or two away from the Tokyo metropolitan area. It is a regular action of the guests at this inn to gaze at this scenery for a while. |
