Tenboroten-no-Yu ARIMAKAN -Facilities & Hot Spring Reports(4)-
The other large public bath is the "Roman-Yu" located on the basement floor. The "Roman-Yu" was originally divided into separate men's and women's baths, and in 1997, when the aforementioned "Kin-no-Yu" bathhouse was added, the walls were broken down to make one large bathhouse, so it is quite spacious. The L-shaped floor has 2 large indoor baths, a Jacuzzi bath, and a bedrock bath. First is the regular indoor bath. A bench is embedded in half of the bathtub, making it a half-body bathing area. This is a nice facility for those who like to take long baths. |

Then, there is the specialty of this inn, the gemstone bath. | |
The stone itself has the power to emit far-infrared rays and negative ions by itself, and then crushed gemstones in powder form are thrown into the hot water. This is why only this bathtub is cloudy white. The bath is expected to promote blood circulation, revitalize cells, and improve immunity. |

Like "Kin-no-Yu", this bathhouse is also equipped with a bedrock bath using gemstones. The inn recommends that guests first warm themselves in the gemstone bath and then use the bedrock bath. The effect is said to be enhanced. Do not forget to drink plenty of water. |

Note that the "Kin-no-Yu" and "Roman-Yu" are switched between men's and women's baths at different times of the day. The "Kin-no-Yu" on the 1st floor is open for men from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, and for women from 12:00 midnight to 10:00 a.m. the next morning. The "Roman-Yu" on the basement floor is a women's bath from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, and a men's bath from 12:00 midnight to 10:00 a.m. the next morning. |
