Tenboroten-no-Yu ARIMAKAN -Facilities & Hot Spring Reports(3)-
Next, let us introduce the large public baths (indoor baths) for men and women. The "Kin-no-Yu" (golden water), located on the 1st floor, is a large public bathhouse that was expanded in 1997. It is named after the source well near the entrance to the bathhouse, and after a legend that a golden hot spring gushed out with a roaring sound. The bathtub is large enough to accommodate 20 adults at one time, and the light coming in through the tsuboniwa garden seen through the glass illuminates the inside of the bath. |

As you exit the back door, you will find a Shigaraki-ware bathtub that was expanded in 2007. The hot spring water poured into this tub is the only 100% free-flowing hot spring water in the inn. Since the hot spring water does not go through a circulation and filtration system, the temperature at the time of use is not constant. On the day of the interview (June), the temperature was slightly high. However, this is also a phenomenon that can only be caused by 100% free-flowing hot spring water. Guests can think back to the time when the source was dug up in 1921. |

A bedrock bath using gemstones is located next to the baths. Gemstones are natural stones found in the Southern Alps that absorb and re-emit the energy of the earth's orogenic movement some 30 million years ago, and have the highest level of far-infrared ray effects and negative ion production in nature. The bedrock of this gemstone is heated through a source of more than 60 degrees Celsius. It is said to be good to lie down for 15 to 20 minutes. The detox effect, which is popular nowadays, is also expected. |
