One of the most iconic products of the inn is the "Drinking Onsen Kannon Onsen" in plastic bottles. It is available in 350 ml, 2 liter, and 20 liter bottles in pack-in boxes. The bottles can also be purchased by the box and delivered. The source of Kannon Onsen, which is strong alkaline with a pH of 9.5, but is also super soft water, is contained directly in PET bottles, making it a valuable product. The filling plant on the premises is located right next to the source, so the water is not exposed to air and is poured into the bottles without losing any of the ingredients. |

There is a sake even made with 100% Kannon Onsen (hot spring water). Collaborating with the company was a brewery called Raifuku Shuzo (Chikusei City, Ibaraki Prefecture). It is known for brewing sake using flower yeast, which is found in only 30 locations in Japan. The owner and master brewer, Mr. Fujimura, was introduced to Kannon Onsen, a hot spring with strong alkalinity and ultra-soft water, by a reporter from a hot spring-related magazine who was covering the brewery and thought it would be an interesting water source for sake brewing. Sake made with soft water is said to have a gentle taste with a mellow flavor, and the softness of the water itself is said to contribute to the overall balance of the sake. There are two types of sake to choose from: "mellow," which is slightly sweet and mellow, and "light," which is clean and dry. |
