In September 2017, after several months of renovation work, the guest rooms were finally completed. When I entered the guest room, which was finally completed, I found myself in the “"Mitooka World"”. The chairs from the "Nanatsuboshi in Kyushu" were also available. The sliding shoji paper screens are also beautifully crafted. The floral designs on the ceiling, sliding doors, doors, and other woodwork are actually the result of printing on wood.
The way in which traditional Japanese craftsmanship is embodied in modern art technology has become a unique feature of the newly reborn "Soan Kosumosu".
The rooms, which until then had been mostly Japanese-style rooms, the layout was changed to a tatami-mat room with a chair and a bed. Regular guests of "Soan Kosumosu" may be a bit puzzled, but after spending some time in the rooms, they will be surprised at how comfortable and functional they are, and will make some new discoveries.
The reason for this is the high level of first-rate craftsmanship that supports Mitooka's design, or rather, the faithful realization of his ideas. The "Works" created by his uncompromising craftsmanship, when arranged in a certain space, create an indescribable sense of balance or comfort.
One of the main features of the renewal is a restaurant with a kids' room, which was completed based on President Ota's idea. The concept was born from the perspective of President Ota, who was blessed with a child between him and the young okami, and is based on the desire for customers with children to be able to concentrate on the food and enjoy it in a relaxed atmosphere.
It means that beyond the sight of parents enjoying their food, there are children playing. Of course, the private dining room is still there.
In other words, the restaurant has been reborn as a restaurant that can be enjoyed by three generations.

The head chef at “Soan Kosumosu” is Mr.Ito. He is the fourth-generation chef. Let me introduce his dinner menu. The dinner menu at “Soan Kosumosu” is a creative kaiseki cuisine that allows you to taste the season of Yufuin.
