The origin of Nakagawa Wood Crafts began with the production of wooden buckets. About 700 years ago, the technique of making wooden washtubs was introduced from the continent, and around the Edo period (1603-1867), they came into use in many parts of Japan. While preserving this tradition, the company now produces not only wooden washtubs, but also furniture, wine coolers, and other innovative products. At "503 Banchi", visitors can actually use many of these products. |
