In recent years, the popularity of "sake" has increased in proportion to the rapid increase in the number of foreign tourists.
The following are locally brewed sake from Otaru.
"Shiboritate Nama-genshu" has a fruity taste that captures the flavor and savoriness of the rice.
"Junmai-shu Takaragawa" has a gentle aroma and a dry taste with rich rice flavor.
"Honjozo Jizake Otaru" is dry and goes well with all kinds of food.

"Junmai Genshu Samurai" is a local sake from Asahikawa, characterized by its rice flavor, richness, and powerful taste.
It is recommended for mixing with soda, lime juice, or sake-based cocktails.

The "Jozen Mizu-no-Gotoshi Junmai Ginjo sake" is a junmai sake with a mellow, lingering flavor.
