YUNOYADO RAKUSAN -Private & Open-air Bath Report(1)-

The public bath has a variety of unique baths, but the three private baths are even more elaborate than the public bathes.
Moreover, all three private baths are 100% free-flowing hot-spring water.
Therefore, some people may have a difficult time choosing which bath to take.

Let us introduce them in order.
First is the "Oyako Kamaburo" (parent-child kettle bath).
Two kettle bathtubs, each more than one meter in diameter, can be rented at the same time.
The combination of a large kettle and a small kettle bathtubs, as in “"Oyako"” (parent and child), but even the small one is large enough.
The unique atmosphere is fun, and it is recommended for visitors of two, such as friends or parent and child.

Next is the "Tachinbo no Yu" (standing bath).
This is a different kind of bath, in which the deeper you walk, the deeper the bathtub becomes, reaching 1.2 meters at its deepest point.
The capacity of the bathtub is also large, and since you can soak up to your neck while stretching out your body, you can feel the hot spring water all over your body.
The way to get into the bath is to place your arms on the wooden pad on the edge of the bathtub and let your body swing freely in the hot water.
There is also a step for sitting down, so you can start by sitting down and taking a half-body bath.
This bathtub is perfect for those who have trouble staying in the same position in the bathtub, or for those who want to enjoy a bath with a different flavor.

The third "Hinoki-buro" (Japanese cypress bath) is a half-open-air bath.
It is equipped with a bathtub of the most standard shape among the private baths.
The softly lighted shoji screens and other features create a calm and relaxing atmosphere that is sure to be appreciated by the elderly.

And an open-air bath with guest room.
This is the only "Room No. 105" out of the 18 rooms, and is very popular, so reservations are difficult to make.
The water is 100% free-flowing from the source, and the hinoki bathtub is perfectly spacious.
If you are able to get this room on your desired date, you should not hesitate to reserve it.
